Conan too good for new show: He’s for us geeks potheads

Watching Conan I’ve often had the feeling that he was getting away with something. Let the world have Jay Leno. Conan was and is for us; the comedy geeks, insomniacs, potheads, oddballs and night owls. Leno represents the evil of banality, the tragedy of a gifted comedian down his material for the lowest common denominator.
